About Schudwell

Schudwell Outdoors is a hunting and fishing operation located in the heart of the Midwest in Greenfield, Illinois. Greenfield is a small town in west-central Illinois near the Mississippi and Illinois rivers. We are a family operation specializing in hunting, fishing, hunting dogs and a few quality products that we either manufacture ourselves, or personally use in the field from a very select group of other manufacturers.

 

We hunt and fish the old-fashioned way and we tell it like it is. We don't use a lot of gimmicks and only make and use products that work. If we don't use it, we will not sell it.

Schudwell is a small family owned and operated business. We specialize in dove hunting, duck and goose hunting, deer hunting, hunting dogs, and waterfowl calls and accessories.

Our hunting clubs are owned, operated and managed by our family.

You won't have a number here, you'll have a name and everybody is a part of the family.

Our products are either hand crafted in our own woodworking shop or hand selected from a very small group of hunting products that we use ourselves.

Mike Weller designed all of the waterfowl calls we sell.

We have been in the waterfowl business for 35 years.

We have been in the dove club business for 25 years.

We have been raising labrador retrievers for 35 years.

Our deer and turkey hunting is among the finest in west-central Illinois.

The coyote hunting in this area is some of the most intense in the part of the country, using multiple specially trained coyote dogs.

Our coyote dogs are among the best in the Midwest.
